One of Bob's childhood friends that got into trouble in art class.

Bob's friend who helped him paint houses in the summer.
- Julie Donnelly:
The quintessential girl next door who Richard was in love with.

One of Bob's pals. Famous for the Midnight Ride of Tom Revere.

Redneck from Gregory Street,

Bob's football player friend from the Tracks.
- Debbie Hall:
Cheerleader who gave Tom and Bob a ride home from their night of debauchery.
Chapter 3: "Out in the Country"
- Uncle Johnny:
Bob's uncle who owned a dairy farm out in the country.

Bob's motor head cousin.
- Navajo Joe:
The hired man out on the farm.
Chapter 4: "When Heavens Align"
- Sandy Leigh:
Julie Donnelly's very attractive friend. She's going though a break up with her boyfriend who is in the Coast Guard.
Chapter 5: "Lost Children Among the Concrete Bastions of Past Empire"
- Roger:
One of bobby's best friends who moved into the city during his parent's divorce.
- Ginger:
Roger's mom, who is interested in dating again.
- Dwight:
Ginger's boyfriend. One of the world's worst drivers.
- Terry:
Roger's brother, experiencing mental problems due to his parent's break up.
- Freddie:
Terry's roommate

Terry's roommate, experimenting with pills.

Security guard at the rock concert.
